About Joy

I help open minded individuals to seek and apply balance in their lives, by using kinesiology, counseling and practical tools, so they can manage their own stress levels, be more connected with themselves and others, and simply enjoy life!

Joy Li is a Registered Specialised Kinesiology Practitioner with the Australian Kinesiology Association (AKA) and has been a practising Kinesiologist in Hong Kong since 2013 at Kinesiology Asia, and in 2017 joined UP!Health. She has studied under Dr. Charles Krebs (LEAP), Hugo Tobar (NK) and Brett Scott in the United States, Australia and Hong Kong respectively. She uses Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and Brain Gym® in her treatments, and has her Masters of Counseling degree with Monash University.

Besides providing kinesiology sessions, Joy has worked at Just Resonance and with NGOs such as the Nesbitt Centre, New Life 360 and ImpactHK, and helps multinationals deal with corporate stress. She also shares her complementary techniques with institutions like Asia-Pacific Aromatherapy. Joy is currently a mentor for The Women’s Foundation’s Mentoring Programme and is committed to providing mutual support, learning, and growth to other women leaders.

To maintain balance in her life, Joy sprinkles meditation throughout her day, taking the time to engage her senses and be present, and finds that being positive in the mundane helps her to enjoy each day.
